The organization solicits and receives funds and property from its donors which includes the general public for the purpose of distributing same as voluntary, gratuitous, and charitable gifts that benefit safety responders serving the metropolitan richmond area and/or dependents of such responders in the event of death or permanent disability occuring in the line of duty.
