Our technical and education committee's goal is to provide education and training to member brewers with the goal of improving and maintaining the highest quality standard of beer brewed in Vermont. We have 1 technical and educational day a year planned by the committee and host the annual Vermont Craft Brewers Conference in November which is a 2 day educational event focusing on resilience, technical brewing, and business development. In 2024, the Vermont Brewers Association launched a new public-facing website and a dedicated member-only portal, significantly improving communication, accessibility, and value for our brewery members.
We introduced an integrated online store. The store's mobile-friendly functionality enables VBA staff to take merchandise to breweries and festivals statewide, supporting in-person and online sales. This new platform helped increase merchandise revenue to $22,381.94 and allowed continued support of our Vermont Brewery Challenge passport program (both digital and paper), through which we provide free branded merchandise as incentives for participants.
