Mission
Veterans Law Center provides direct legal representation to disabled and indigent veterans seeking assistance with their claims and appeals for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disability benefits. The mission of Veterans Law Center is to work in partnership with underserved veterans and provide high-quality and compassionate legal representation to secure housing stability and the benefits they earned through their service.

Veterans Instruction Program: Veterans Law Center (VLC) provides legal education to veterans and social service providers to help them navigate common legal issues affecting the veteran community. Topics covered include VA benefits, military discharge upgrades, landlord-tenant disputes, public benefits, and criminal record expungements. In 2024, VLC delivered 46 legal education presentations to a veterans audience with 715 attendees throughout the year. In addition, VLC provided several training sessions tailored to staff at partnering veteran social service organizations.
