Veteran of foreign wars post 3976 mission is to promote veterans advocacy, history, education and commemoration, encouraging national security through support of our nations men and women in uniform and by promoting good citizenship and community service.

Member fundraising meals providing operating revenue and helped to acheieve helping of veterans and their families in need. Also helped member families with financial hardship issues. A hog roast bbq and cookoffwas held for this function. Also a fundraiser for a deceased member.
Aluminum cans were collected and the boy scouts received 1/2 of the revenue as a service project. A veteran birthday bash was also sponsored. Families were adopted for christmas.
