Our Mission: To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. Our Vision: Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

The VFW Department of Arizona with the help of its state-wide affiliates has donated over $30,000 supporting National VFW Programs such as the National Home for Children, the VFW Veterans and Military Support, which includes Operation Uplink, Unmet Needs and Military Assistance Programs.

The VFW Department of Arizona sponsors numerous youth activities, including Voice of Democracy oral essay scholarships for high school students, Patriot's Pen written essay scholarships for middle school students and yearly awards to exceptional teachers, first responders and police officers. We are also a primary sponsor the the Arizona 4H Sport Shooting Team, and an annual resident summer camp for children of active duty service members.
