To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. This specific organization serves the veterans within the Lantana-Boynton Beach Palm Beach County Florida area.

To maintain the tax-exempt status granted by the IRS the membership focuses on activities like social and recreational opportunities community service and welfare support for veterans and their families. Thus the nonprofit organization focuses solely on making life better for veterans or current members of the Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps Coast Guard and Space Force. Specifically the PFC Micheal J Metcalf VFW Post 5335 provides services for the enhancement of veterans residing in the geographical area of Boynton Beach-Lantana Area but it is branched into the Lake Worth Delray Beach and Boca Raton Areas.
501c3. The PFC Michael J Metcalf Post 5335 participates in the Voices of Democracy Scholarship Patriots Pen Essay and Teacher of the Year Program encouraging local youth to pursue higher education. Scholarships are awarded based on the community involvement and response to national publications.
501c7. The PFC Michael J Metcalf Post 5335 provides a venue for tax exempt food and beverages where veterans can relax and socialize with fellow veterans who served in combat related geographical wars. It is a Veterans Canteen Service VCS which was established by law to provide comfort in the Palm Beach County Area; it is a whole health space for veterans to connect relax share and care for themselves in an environment that promotes their benefit. We are proud to serve Americas Veterans and those who provide for their care.
