Mission
To provide relief and camaraderie to veterans and their families in need and support to their communities.
Programs
2 programs
Our membership tends to be a bit older so much of our relief tends to be geared towards an older population. We help with recognizing deceased members and their families at funerals and provide as needed for those that are left behind. We supported 10 members families during and after funerals over the year and maintain a relief fund dedicated to that support.
0We support our community mainly through education and awareness. We provide speakers at special events so the community can learn about life in the military and the war-time experiences that typically set the military members apart. We also are present for flag and wreath laying events and in general during federal holidays. During the year we conducted 1 speaking event planted flags at 2 cemeteries and 2 food and clothing drives for our local community.
