Via Migrante through partnership with a local coalition of nonprofits, we supported the opening of migrant shelter, and ongoing convening and coalition building between migrant shelters in the region. The program coordinated a meal program at the US/Mexico border providing 12,480 meals and food security support to that shelter for 45 persons.Via Baja: through partnerships with other nonprofits and grassroots groups, we organize groups of microcredit and microfinance lending for women in Baja California. Currently we coordinate 5 solidarity groups, 68 participants. The loan participants repaid loans 100% with interest.
ViaGO: through partnerships with educational institutions, we receive groups of students and leaders to the region to educate them on community development and the programming of Via throughout the region, through the lens of holistic leadership development. 445 volunteers participated in programs this past year.
