To administer funds to enhance the educational activities of the vicksburg community schools by promoting innovation in teaching and learning.

Scholarships - awarded to graduating seniors of vicksburg community schools for purposes of pursuing higher education. Scholarships are funded through a combination of grants from the vicksburg foundation and transfers from endowments held by the kalamazoo community foundation. There is a competitive application process and scholarships are awarded based on the criteria established by endowment donors at the time each endowment was established. Twenty eight scholarships were awarded during the year.
