Preserve and promote vietnamese culture, customs, traditions, foster unity, and empowerment, support education, civic engagement, health, and social services within the vietnamese american community within houston & surrounding areas.

In 2024, VNCH purchased a centrally-located building and paid for rehabilitation planning and architectural renderings, strategic planning, board training and development, and capacity building consulting services and activities to increase the number of Vietnamese-speaking children, low-income individuals and families, and the elderly each year.
In 2024, VNCH provided community education and services including retirement, unemployment & SSI financial assistance and counseling, affordable housing and property tax financial assistance and counseling, education and employment, healthy food provision, nutrition planning financial assistance and counseling, utility financial assistance, and community health and dental services and financial assistance to Vietnamese-speaking children, low-income individuals and families, and the elderly.
