Mission
Villa comunitaria is a seattle-based nonprofit organization created in 2019, its mission of cultivating leaders to create a stronger community, support the vision of seeing a community where all families thrive and participate. Villa comunitaria's diverse programs support families, in seattle and south king county, to navigate the complexities of the united states immigration, housing, health and education. A holistic approach brings programs for economic and finances education and skills development, health education, prevention and referrals. We also invest resources to outreach the most isolated and vulnerable families in the region.

Economic development: this program educates individuals about financials. A series of workshops are promoted during the year, guest experts were invited. A group of community organizers run the salsa de la vida cooperative.
Leadership & skills development (aula digital en accion, early learning)
Civic outreach & community engagement (citizenship, covid-19, fresh bucks, wage theft)
Multi-use building & general community programming
Healthy community: promotes healthy prevention options with education and physical activities for families. The heart prevention program help families and individuals to make better choices in nutrition, exercise and mental health. A group of community organizers make outreach, education and engage people in the community to access information and resources.
