Hopecore's micro enterprise program has been a pillar of economic empowerment in tharaka nithi county and beyond for over two decades. Since its launch in 2000, the program has equipped entrepreneurs with loans, business training, and leadership development, helping dairy farmers, tea farmers, and traders establish and expand their businesses. Since inception, the program has disbursed over ksh. 227 million ($2.2 million) to 472 groups, supporting 5,354 entrepreneurs and strengthened local economies by directly providing loans and indirectly impacting approximately 40,000 community members.
