Virginia Anti-Violence Project builds direct service, advocacy, outreach, and training strategies around serving the following underserved populations: LGBTQIA+ Black and other People of Color, Transgender and Nonbinary Communities, LGBTQIA+ Geographically Isolated/Rural Areas, LGBTQIA+ Immigrants/Refugees, LGBTQIA+ Individuals without documentation, LGBTQIA+ Limited English Proficiency and Monolingual Spanish Speaking, LGBTQIA+ Latinx/e Communities, LGBTQIA+ Youth (ages 18-24), LGBTQIA+ Homeless individuals and LGBTQIA+ individuals with housing instability, LGBTQIA+ Individuals with mental health need, (continues in Schedule O)

VAVP has remained an organization that is solely dedicated to LGBTQIA+ survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, hate/bias-motivated violence, stalking/harassment, and other forms of interpersonal and systemic violence across Virginia, with a specific focus on Black and Latinx/e transgender and nonbinary survivors. Activities are currently being conducted in person, virtually and/or over the phone. *Virginia's 24/7 LGBTQ+ Helpline.
