Mission
The piedmont workforce development board has the central role of pro- viding leadership and direction on local stragegic workforce issues identifying local needs and developing strageties to address those needs.
Programs

Youth out of school program is a program under the WIOA federal program that help youths that are out of school to help obtain certain skills as well as their GED so that they can obtain gainful employment.
The dislocated Worker program is also a program under the WIOA federal program. This program helps people that have lost their jobs due to business closures, massive layoffs and various other reasons. They help by providing training in new careers and help to find jobs in their current fields.
