To increase the understanding appreciation of chamber music in Virginia and beyond presenting annual Festival other concerts and educational outreach programs

Presented free community concert in March 2024 at Dickinson Hall at Piedmont Virginia Community College, featuring as special guest an acclaimed horn artist with string ensemble and piano. Commentary included introduction and demonstration of qualities of natural and modern French horns, with complementary repertoire ranging from 18th Century to present.Attendance approximately 350.Enthusiastic response.
Community Outreach during Festival: Presented Free Community Concert at historic Paramount Theater in Downtown Charlottesville. Program included wide repertoire, with program notes provided for audience. Collaboration with Charlottesville City Schools continued, with a free program presented at the Citys Buford Middle School Auditorium. Artists engaged in lively conversation with students and shared favorite works. Artists leading program had strong educational experience and reaction from students, faculty and School system arts coordinator was enthusiastic. A full rehearsal was also presented at a local senior residence. Overall approximately 725 served.
