Promotion and education in schools and industry events vgpa serves as an information resource to provide a voice for va grain producers and associated industries, to promote the industry. Vgpa provides grain-based products and promotional materials to school and industry partners during educational, trade, and other events across the commonwealth, including the 2023 virginia state fair. Vgpa provides educational materials to classrooms, field days and local activities across the commonwealth. Vgpa works to promote positive trade opportunities for all virginia grains in national and international markets.

Promotions and communciations vgpa works unilaterally and in conjunction with other organizations to promote corn and small grains. Specifically, vgpa: 1) maintains a website and engages via social media tools to serve as a resource for producers, industry, end users, media consumers and elected and government officials; 2) publishes and distributes "vgpa news and updates- and 3) supports initiatives to educate consumers on corn and small grain producers and virginia's agriculture industry as a whole.
