Mission

The virginia public access project (vpap) is committed to remaining fiercely non-partisan and to fostering transparency in virginia's state and local politics and government. We provide citizens with access to a wide array of political news and public data, covering topics such as campaign finance, elections, registrations and disclosures, legislative votes, and other policy issues.

Programs

1 program

Vpap supports civic education through its civics navigator program. Designed for educators, parents, and caregivers, this initiative integrates vpap's data and tools into the classroom and beyond. By connecting real- world political information to classroom concepts, civics navigator helps students build a foundational understanding of government and civic engagement.
