Vrc tech and mobility - the city of fayetteville awarded this grant to support the purchase of wewalk canes (smart cane) devices for our blind consumers to navigate the city of fayetteville independently with this new technology. We used $8,580. Towards this project in 2023.

Vr radio reading - the vrc-vly reading service utilizes volunteers to read local newspapers and magazines in cumberland and surrounding counties for the blind and print-impaired over our 24 hour streaming radio service that can be listened to via phone, alexa or website.
