In response to this growing concern, visioncorps offers vital services to individuals at all stage of vision loss. The impact of low vision can very significantly from person to person, and visioncorps tailors its approach to meet each individual's unique needs. This year, visioncorps provided comphrehensive, individualized services to 1,261 clients, delivering a total of 12,001 hours of direct services. Through personalized assessments, education, support, and training, visioncorps helps individuals regain their independence and maintain their quality of life despite vision challenges.

Youth services: the youth services department at visioncorps offers high-quality, family-centered, itinerant services to children with vision impairments. Certified teachers for the visually impaired, along with orientation and mobility instructors, provide evaluation, consultation, and direct services to families, schools, and partnering organizations. Children with vision impairments face distinct developmental and educational challenges. To meet these needs effectively, visioncorps provides a collaborative, team-based approach involving professionals and family members. Through coaching, education, and adaptive techniques, visioncorps teaches children that vision loss is not a barrier to independence. This year, visioncorps served 80 children, delivering 2,443 service hours.
