Provide problem gambling recovery mentor curriculum and training. Designed and facilitated trainings for peer support specialists, traditional healthcare workers and certified recovery mentors from the substance use disorder field to train in problem gambling peer mentoring skills designed a 40-hour curriculum for individuals with lived experience in gambling harm to train to become certified gambling recovery mentors. Provided training to 58 individuals with lived experience (as peers) and 500+ counselors/clinicians.

Build community and promote recovery of individuals: hosted quarterly meetings and ten outreach events at community agencies. Vpgr members in long term recovery serve as recovery models for general public and in doing so promotoed the recovery of invidicuals. Operational expenses are included in this category.

Speakers bureau: maintains and supports a speakers bureau of persons in recovery from gambling related problems. Vpgr members participated in approximately 20 distinct engagements, including conferences, webinars, trainings, podcasts and provided public testimony at the legislative level, reaching several thousand people
