Mission

Vote.org's primary purpose is to build web-based technologies that remove barriers to vote and increase voter turnout.

Programs

2 programs

Gotv & voter registration: vote.org leverages multiple complimentary, data-driven, nonpartisan and cost efficient tactics to reach voters and encourage them to participate in elections. These include sending texts of millions of election reminder emails and texts to voters, running a multi-state terrestrial and streaming radio program, engaging students on campus and on digital platforms. These tactics and others led vote.org to help register millions of new voters in 2023, the most of any independent organization.

Expenses: $691K

Civic technology: much of vote.org's work is powered by its online tools. The voter engagement toolset. These tools help voter check their registration status, register to vote, learn what's on their ballot and get other critical voting information straight from their phone or computer. Our technology has served tens of millions of voters since our inception, and hundred of groups across sectors rely on our technology to serve voters. We have a strong team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, user experience, partner experience, compliance and analytics.
