To connect people to Voyageurs National Park, enhance the visitor experience, and protect the park for present and future generations.

NEXT GENERATION-Voyageurs Conservancy leads the Voyageurs Classroom, an initiative to increase programs and opportunities for children, young adults, and families to connect to the park and environmental education opportunities. The Voyageurs Classroom offers a full suite of K-12 and young adult programs that connect thousands of students annually to their national park through park-based experiences, mobile classroom visits, and online offerings.

VOYAGEURS EXPERIENCE-Voyageurs Conservancy funds in-park improvements that expand and improve recreation opportunities and accessibility and improve the visitor experience overall, so the public can safely recreate and learn in the park.

WILD VOYAGEURS-Voyageurs Conservancy supports environmental protection and stewardship of Voyageurs National Park. We work to address threats to water quality, fisheries, natural darkness, and habitat resiliency. We fund scientific research and monitoring, advocate for park protections, and support on the ground land and water conservation and restoration projects.

CULTURAL STEWARDSHIP-Voyageurs Conservancy supports historic and cultural preservation projects, with a particular focus on developing Indigenous partnerships and co-stewardship models. We are working to integrate traditional ecological knowledge with modern conservation approaches and to collaborate with Indigenous communities on land stewardship practices, youth engagement, interpretation, and more.
