Mission
The mission and purpose of the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival (WWCMF) is to promote excellence in the performance of chamber music throughout the greater Walla Walla Valley area, to embody these qualities as members of a greater community, and to raise the general level of interest in classical music, especially chamber music, in the Walla Walla Valley area. WWCMF strives to serve audiences through the following measures: Performance of chamber music works across the entire aesthetic spectrum of classical music. WWCMF also actively seeks to partner with other artists and art media to create multi-faceted performances that promote additional fine arts media. Promotion of new works by partnering with present-day composers in the commissioning and creation of new works to expand the contemporary music repertoire. Presentation of educational programs to expand the means for understanding and appreciating classical music.
