Programs
2 programs
Community navigator program- the community navigator program funded by dds and heluna health has allowed warmline to reach more families and provide critical navigation services to families. Services include navigating generic services and regional center services. Familes are also connected to community resources. Our navigator program has been successful and is slowly growing. In the past year we have added a russian speaking navigator.
Family empowerment center- the fec grant is funded by the california department of education. With this grant warmline has been able to bring more trainings pertaining to special education to the families in the 6 counties that warmline serves. Warmline has created relationships with community organizations, school districts and selpa's in the following counties: sacramento, alpine, el dorado, nevada, and placer. Hiring more staff and building up the capacity to serve every family in the form of support groups and workshops has been made possible by this grant.
