WRF envisions a world where veterans and rehabilitated horses realize a productive future. Veterans & 1st responders attend natural horsemanship retreats (including mini-retreats, roping, riding) and carriage driving sessions proven to reduce PTSD symptoms. WRF rescues, rehabilitates, and adopts out troubled horses. Natural horsemanship techniques are used and the program validates retraining through participation of the horses in the retreats and carriage driving sessions.
