Washington Association For Learning Alternatives

Student scholarships: recipients are selected by the scholarship committee from among applicants who are seniors graduating from alternative high schools and plan to enter institutions of higher learning. Scholarship moneys are deposited with the college's financial office upon registration of the student. Criteria for the awards are based on (1)a completed application (2) a high school transcript (3) letters of recommendation (4) an autobiographical essay. Scholarships vary in amount from 250 to 1000 based on the scholarship committees recommendations.
