To communicate and cooperate with governmental entities, channel and distribute information among association members, sponsor and hold educational programs, encourage standardization of water and sewer methods.

B.2024 Fall Conference, September 24, 25, 26, 2024. This annual fall conference also focused on education for elected district commissioners and district management. Workshops included sessions on Climate Resiliency & Comp Planning, Artificial Intelligence in Utility Operations, The Safe Water Drinking Act Cybersecurity Compliance Requirements, Asset Management, Maintenance and Repair Techniques for Utilities, Lessons learned by a Washington Regional Drinking Water Provider, PFAS, Empowering Community Owned Clean Energy among other topics.
C.Conducted the annual Commissioners workshop on Saturday, January 27, 2024. This one-day seminar provided class instruction on Fiscal Responsibilities, Policies for Sound Fiscal Management and Fraud Prevention, the Role of Commissioners, Hot Topics in Public Records and Accountable Leadership.
D.Conducted a series of webinars that included: External Funding: Funding Insights and Strategies to Optimize Opportunities, Fighting Fraud, The Gift of Public Funds Doctrine, Operating under Title 57, Winter Weather Outlook, and Best Practices for Accounts Receivable Management.
F.Published the Associations newsletter, PIPELINE, which provides current information of issues, and activities of the Association.
G.Published the Associations Legislative UPDATE, on an as needed basis to keep members informed of the legislatures activities.
H.Published a weekly news clipping to keep members informed on topics related to the water and sewer industry.
I.Provided information and resources to member districts and Associate members.
