Our workforce development program offers access to employment-training and career resources to both youth and adults (including dislocated workers), as well as supports to businesses in washington county. As the career center for washington county, the program operates as part of a tri-county consortium through the saratoga-warren-washington county local workforce development board, and is funded through the u.s. Department of labor under the 'workforce innovation and opportunity act' (wioa).

Our community services block grant (csbg) programming provides support services that alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty in washington county. Leap's emergency assistance and transportation programs assist individuals and families in the community facing food-insecurity, housing-insecurity (including homelessness) and limited access to transportation. Services are restricted to income-eligible residents as well as seniors within washington county. Csbg funding also supports outreach, awareness and local partnerships that help to coordinate resources for individuals and families living in poverty.
