Mission

The mission of the washington historical society is to acquire, preserve, and display washington history. While maintaining a museum is a partial focus, washington historical society maintains a library with significant records, allowing genealogy research as well as educational programs such as time travels in trucks and trunks to the local school districts. Washington historical society also provides free presentations and programs to the general public for historical interest and educational opportunities throughout the year.
