The purposes for which this corporation is organized are as follows 1 To provide financial support for the Washington Island Fire Department and the Washington Island Rescue Squad 2 To raise funds through various fundraising activities and accept donations to provide for financial support for the Washington Island Fire Department and the Washington Island Rescue Squad 3 To promote fire health and accident safety and prevention information for the residents of and visitors to Washington Island 4 To engage in such other activities as may be consistent With the above purposes This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501 C 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code
