Wraps adult outreach programs are designed to educate the general public about the dangers of impaired driving and promote responsible alcohol use among adults in the washington metropolitan region. Through corporate partnerships, workplace presentations, community events, and media campaigns, wrap delivers practical, research-based information on the legal and safety implications of alcohol misuse. Wraps consistent adult outreach contributes to sustained public awareness and supports regional reductions in alcohol-related crashes and fatalities.

Expenses: $87K

Wraps youth outreach initiatives focus on preventing underage drinking and promoting safe, healthy choices among teens throughout the washington metropolitan area. The organization delivers targeted presentations in schools, partners with youth-serving nonprofits, and distributes age- appropriate educational materials that address the legal, health, and social consequences of underage alcohol use. Wrap's annual participation in regional youth safety campaigns such as "prom & graduation safety- and "teen drinking prevention month" has reached thousands of students, educators, and parents. During the year, wrap reached 3,394 washington- metropolitan area high school students with wrap's innovative and muti- media education program, alcohol awareness for students.

Expenses: $68K

Its signature soberride initiative, backed by public education, has provided over 90,000 safe rides to would-be impaired drivers since its inception in 1991, and continues to grow following the partnership with lyft in 2017, which increased program usage more than 300percent. Wraps signature soberride program provides free, safe rides home during high-risk holidays, helping to keep thousands of impaired drivers off the roads each year. Wrap removed nearly 4,000 potential drunk drivers from greater washington's roadways via wrap's safe ride service. As a result, the regions alcohol-related traffic injuries and fatalities have consistently remained below national averages. Wrap actively advocates for stronger laws and policies to prevent drunk and impaired driving in the washington metropolitan area. The organization collaborates with lawmakers, law enforcement, and community partners to promote effective regulations and enforcement strategies.
