Founded in 1979, the Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, membership organization whose mission is to support vibrant and sustainable farmers markets in Washington State through member services, education and advocacy.

Promoting WSFMA farmers markets throughout Washington State so that farmers have vibrant, local marketplaces and direct connections with shoppers; farmland is sustained; artisan and other small business vendors grow; community gathering places thrive; and everyone has access to healthy foods.
Providing critical professional training, networking, and resources to farmers market organizers through an annual conference; Boot Camp and other video forums; online resources; and in-person trainings so they can effectively manage the dynamic demands of running a successful farmers market and farmers market organization.
