Mission
Through our work of providing advocacy, education, information and resources, member veterinarians and veterinary students are able to focus on their deep commitment to the care and wellbeing of animals, their owners, and the general public.
Programs

Education - Three 1/2 day in person training events were provided each offering 4 hours of CE were provided in 2023/24. 12 one-hour webinars were presented live on a variety of veterinary topics with attendance varying between 25 and 100 attendees at each one. In addition a 2 hour DEI focused CE event and a program to explain new dog importation guidelines were provided with a combined 700 attendees.
Power of Ten Leadership Academy and support for Veterinary Students - Ten recent graduates enter a one year program to study leadership, communication, and organized veterinary medicine. Provision of scholarships to students at the College of Veterinary Medicine and support for student focused events and educational opportunities.
