Sankranthi program event- in bothell, washington, washington telugu samithi hosted a makar sankranti event on january 28, 2024, at northshore performance art center in bothell.makar sankranti, lohri, and pongal was celebrated. The event featured haldi kunku & tilwa ceremonies, bornahn for toddlers, games, dance, a dj, and a photo booth. There was also a kite competition for ages 13 and under, and traditional food
Diwali program event- in bellevue, washington, washington telugu samithi hosted a diwali event on nov 17, 2024, at bothell high school in bothell. Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
