Gallery - the gallery at waterloo arts is curated by a volunteer committee of artists and curators who select artists from an open call process and present them in 8-10 exhibitions each year. The gallery schedule includes an annual dayglo exhibit and holiday co-op sale. Gallery artists are required to do an artist talk and also an additional community engagement activity during their exhibit.
Other community & artists programs - waterloo arts provides low cost artist studio space and open studio events for the public. They manage the district merchant meetings and are the fiscal agent for district-wide programming. Waterloo arts hosts programs for independent artists and other arts nonprofits, such as a monthly artist collective meeting (15 visual artists), 8-10 new music concerts, better streets community meetings.
