Mission
Continue to help veterans and their families find their way back to civilian life by providing assistance for food insecurities, housing, and mental health issues through diversity and inclusion.
Programs
3 programs
Programs - include weekly coffee events, spouses group therapy sessions, spouses luncheons, and a safe place to gather for social events. Veterans drop by to do puzzles, talk to other veterans, and get help with making sure that they have access to all benefits afford to them. The building, purchased in 2018, has been a central hub for all veterans to get access to any help that they cant access themselves. The programs implimented are a central part of this outreach process. This also prevents isolation.
Provide financial support to veterans and their families in the areas of housing, food & clothing. This is done through specific grants received.
Running a center where Veterans can get help with their benefits, social interaction, housing and information. Income/community support was down 6%, but contributions still supported the veterans center.
