Awake program - the awake program provides virtual education and peer support to individuals living with sleep apnea and related conditions. This year, the association expanded its series of podcasts featuring experts in sleep medicine and associated fields. These podcasts empower patients with knowledge and tools to better manage their health care. The associationn also continued to operate the nationwide aware peer mentor program, a virtual peer-to-peer support network. Over the course of the year, the association responded to more than 4,000 patienet phone calls.
Cpap assistance program - the cpap assistance program ensures positive airway pressure pap therapy for patients unable to afford this essential treatment. During the year, the association distributed 763 gently used pap machines and 266 factory-sealed mask packages to individuals in need. This program direcltly supports patients health and quality of life by enabling consistent access to therapy.
