The Tuscaloosa County Civic Hall of Fame was created as a gift to the community to be a permanent way to honor citizens that have provided the vision, leadership and other significant contributions that have brought the community to the prosperity and quality of life that we experience today. A fund was established to build and maintain a permanent structure in Tuscaloosas government plaza. The monument bears the names of all Civic Hall of Fame inductees (past, present and furure).
