Three Sisters Market Inititiative Three Sisters Market will be built on West Blvd, a major thoroughfare connecting Charlotte's city center and her airport (Charlotte-Douglas International; KCLT), with approx. 10,000 cars passing the site daily.The 3.544 acre property, owned by Inlivian (Charlotte's local housing authority), had been secured through a 99-yr lease at $1 per year with the West Boulevard Neighborhood Coalition.Situated in zip code 28208, indentifed as a Public Health Priority Area by Mecklenburg County Public Health, the site lies at the heart of the 19 neighborhoods that make up the West Boulevard Corridor. The YMCA and other recreation facilities, two senior facilities, an elementary school.

West & Wilkinson Blvd Merchant's AssociationThe West & Wilkinson Blvd Merchant's Association (WWMA) is an intitative that is designed to increase a collective economic power throughout the West Boulevard Corridor and the adjacent Wilkinson Boulevard Corridor in order to strengthen entrepreneurship in the vinicity.A working board has been created, along with a board chair & co-chair. Active initiatives are in place to ensure the vitality of the organization. Membership has continually increased, and small businesses in the area(s) served have joined.
