Leading environment protection in west michigan by inspiring action to promote the general welfare of community through educating and assisting organizations in order to protect and restore the environment.

Water protection - wmeac involves citizens in action to protect our water resources. This is done by the teach for the watershed program, adopt a stream program, and engaging businesses, public schools, and youth groups along with the general public.

Climate resiliency - a program area which assists and evaluates the community's ability to respond to changes in the climate that affect our daily lives. Wmeac climate resiliency programs include recycling projects throughout the area, grants for dunes protection and other cooperative efforts to mitigate the affect of climate change throughout west michigan.
