Community based services - provides supportive services to foster and adoptive families, identifies families in crisis through community referrals and self-identification and provides wraparound services to prevent the need for county involvement. Professional social work staff link families to hundreds of services in the community. Family team meetings and parent support groups are key elements of the success of this program. In 2023 there were 611 child protective services visits hosted in our welcoming community space and advocates accompanied families to 281 child protective services meetings.

Moms first program (family services deparment) - serving teen moms in the entire city of cleveland an provides education in cleveland public schools on std's and healthy relationships. This home visiting program supports expecting and new moms through home visit, education, care coordination and advocacy, through ten factors that support healthy babies. These factors are: health insurance, preventive care for mom, postpartum visit, well child visit, breastfeeding support, depression screening, interpersonal violence screening, safe sleep and smoking cessation. Due to the newly onboarding this program, staff were completing their training requirements and no clients were served in 2023.
