Mission
To strengthen the capacity of West Virginia farmers markets and positively impact the communities they serve by providing education, advocacy, and access to healthy, locally grown food.
Programs
3 programs
Veterans and Heroes Membership Program offers subsidized membership to the WV Department of Agricultures Veterans and Heroes Program.
FarmacyWV & FarmacySCBG Programs addresses the ongoing battle with chronic illness by working with healthcare providers to provide fresh fruits and vegetables from a local farm for 15 weeks. The program also provides an eight-week session designed to help participants discover the wonders of agriculture and how to support local farmers.
WVFMA Mini-Grant Program supports tangible items in two categories: Infrastructure and Marketing. Both help markets stateewide grow and serve their communities
