West Windsor Arts Council Inc

Instructions in a variety of disciplines including visual arts, digital arts, literary arts, theater and voice draw learners of all ages and backgrounds, for elementrary, teen and adults. An average 42 in-person classea are offered in Fall, Winter and Spring of the year, with a few conducted online or hybrid. An artist-in-residence program provides educational opportunities to learn from and exhibit with a professional artist. A youth program called the Certificate in Fine Arts (CiFA)recognizes the achievements and commitment to arts learning by youth students. A scholarship program ensures access to our arts programming for low-income families and individuals in the greater Mercer County area.

Each summer and during school breaks, WWA offers as many as 36 youth and teen arts camps for nearly 400 children in a variety of disciplines with opportunities to learn, grow, and explore as they make friends and memories. As part of the camp program, a teen development initiative attracts up to 175 high school students per year for training and experience in education, leadership, and administrative skills. Grants and scholarships support teens from underserved communities in the Mercer county area attended camps tuition free and with lunch and transport stipends.
