Westchester Putnam Counties Association Of Town Superintendent

The purpose or purposes for which the corporation was formed are to advance the knowledge and to improve the practice of building and maintaining the town highways of the 25 towns of westchester and putnam counties, new york; to aid the progress of the office of town superintendent of highways and superintendents of highways generally; and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, to advance the theory and practice of building and maintaining town highways; to enhance the status of town superintendents of highways; to increase the usefulness of organized societies of such superintendents, and in futherance of such accomplishments to encourage research, education, the preparation of papers, documents, and reports on subjects relevant to such purposes; to develop standards, codes, and recommended practices; to endeavor to maintain high technical and cultural standards of ethical practice by members of the association; to foster the study of the superintendency of highways and en
