The Westcott Community Center After School Program provides enrichment education in the Syracuse City School District (SCSD) at five SCSD locations for students in grades K-8. Students participate in valuable enrichment activities they may not otherwise have access to during the school day or at home. our funding request is for our robotics, drones, and rocketry program with most of our focus on the robotics portion of the program.

The Westcott Center runs an after school program that includes tutoring, and participation in STEAM (science, engineering, technology, arts and math) activities as well as activities geared toward learning about their outdoor environment and activities to interact with peers and develop physically, mentally and emotionally. They will work with SUNY ESF, SU, etc. Nutrition education and science education is included.
