Western Illinois Regional Council Community Action Agency

Community and emergency services - benefitted 6,164 households. Services - provision of services to victims of domestic violence and their dependents, and services to victims of sexual assault and abuse. Additionally, we attempt to assist with basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, limited medical services, and education scholarships.

Housing and housing rehabilitation - benefitted 11 households. Services - assist low income individuals who already own their homes with construction costs relating specifically to health and safety hazards and code violations. Provide assistance to elderly and disabled individuals to make their homes more accessible so they can continue to live in their homes.

Community development - benefitted 13 communities.provided grant writing and technical assistance with comprehensive planning and grant administration to advance economic development and improve infrastructure.

Management services perform management services including accounting, financial reporting, and supervision of contracted municipal projects.
