WRAP was created to expose and eliminate the root causes of civil and human rights abuses of people experiencing poverty and homelessness in our communities.
Programs
2 programs
Public Education: WRAP members engaged in public education through speaking at community meetings, writing op-eds, and presenting at conferences and universities. WRAP also created 28 new pieces of artwork, published 31 newsletters. WRAP also created, printed, and shipped 1000 WRAP t-shirts to member groups.
Legal and Policy: WRAP members continue to attempt to make change at the federal, state, and local levels, with a focus on policies that increase homelessness numbers and make it more difficult for people to survive unhoused. WRAP is also working with other organizations to develop legal clinics for homeless people to access legal representation.
