Mission
To advance, encourage and promote industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of the City of Westerville and Blendon, Sharon, Orange and Genoa Townships by such means as will improve the normal growth, employment opportunities, stability of employment in existing industry, advancement of the industrial and commercial life of the community and to stabilize the general economy of the area.
Programs

Provide grants to improve commercial and mixed-use building facades in the uptown Westerville area.
Uptown Fire Suppression Program - offers up to 75% grant to property owners for wet fire suppression system installation costs for buildings in the Westerville Uptown area.
Provide grants to commercial and industrial companies that have implemented energy efficient projects.
Property Development - Purchase or help facilitate the purchase of real property in the Westerville area.
Provide grants for Economic Development related to the Fintech PILOT project at Otterbein University to help support creation of local jobs.
Power Up Program - provides funding for investment into commercial electric vehicle supply equiment (i.e. EV charging equipment).
Commercial Solar Rebate Program - offers rebates for investment in solar panel investment.
Innovation Retro commissioning Program - provides funds for retro commissioning projects that are administered by a third party vendor.
