Westlake Soccer Association

The westlake soccer association oversees over 15 boys and girls travel teams, ages 8 through 15, that compete in a northeast ohio soccer legue and tournaments through out the year. Over 200 westlake children participate on these teams in order to be involved in athletic competitions, enhance their overall physical well-being, and learn good sportsmanship.

The westlake soccer association annually hosts the westlake invitational soccer tournament (wist). The waist draws together over 200 youth soccer teams from throughout the cleveland area, elsewhere in ohio, from surrounding states and even ocasionally from canada, in order to engage in a competitive athlectic tournament. The wist provides multiple levels of competition so that all participates can assess their skill levels while enjoying the sport of soccer. Due to covid-19 pandamic this tournament got cancelled this yeay which affected the revenue.
