Mission
To partner with communities across oregon in conserving, enhancing, and restoring the physical and ecological values of oregon's greatest wetlands for current and future generations.
Programs
1 program
Communications, advocacy, and outreach in our ideal future, every oregonian understands the importance of wetlands to a healthy and climate resilient landscape. At twc we know that people must experience places to really care about them and stand up for them. The organization operates many community outreach programs including volunteer community science surveys, stewardship and clean up events, and wetland tours with students and community groups. Additionally, we aim to educate via our website, social media and other virtual channels about the value of wetlands and what individuals can do to help ensure they are here for many generations. We believe that the value of wetlands should be shared equitably by all, and work to advance justice alongside our work of land conservation.
